Of "it's handmade" and how I love it!!
I'm sold!!! To this website www.itshandmade.in
I've been a fan of theirs on facebook for a while now but never really ordered anything...just like to browse through how creative people are and get some great ideas too!
For the first time last week I ordered something. I fell in love with the product the second I put my eyes on it. Way to go Ujjvala for being the creative genius you are :) something so simple yet made to look so elegant ! Wow!
So yea, I ordered it and since it did not cost a bomb or anything I was willing to take the risk.
The website had two options for payment. Of course one was by card and one , which I thought was very interesting, was someone comes to your doorstep to pick the money from you (of course at a minimal additional charge) , hands you the receipt And assures you if delivery of the product soon enough.
And Voila!!! I did receive mine today :) to my utter "glee" it was not only wrapped awesomely in Xmas colours ( red and green satin ribbon) but there was also a personalised note inside from the maker of the product wishing me merry xmas et all! I actually felt as if it was a gift sent to me by a friend :)
So go people!! Please have a look at their website and do order if you fancy something... I give my word for them :)
Thank you once again!! And it indeed is a merry Xmas ya'all!
Enjoy the pictures! :)

Of different hues...
Holi Hai!! Rang Barse bhige chunar .....! Holi Hai!!! How many of us have not grown up on those numbers and our neighbourhoods screaming with glee every Holi?!:)
As children , my brother and I used to wake up at 7 am ! For some reason have a quick shower (although it was not needed as one would get filthy almost immediately anyway) and rushout in our olderst of clothes - which were kept ready the previous night - after much ado about whether it was old "enough" or not!
We were so many growing up kids in our neighbourhood that we made teams and had a holi-war ;)
The previous night used to be abuzz with our team mates filling water balloons , discovering and inventing different ways to "attack" our apponents ;) and then ofcourse burning the Holika was another experience altogether where we "burnt" our evil thoughts and gave birth to fresher and newer "holi" (holy) ones :) .. which was followed by dancing and singing...almost all night around the bonfire...
My brother and i were obviously in different teams and we couldnt contain the excitement about the fact that we hid secrets from eachother about our "weapons of distructions" ;) which were - balloons! eggs! buckets of water! hose pipes! and stuff like that !
Where have those days gone! :(
Where has childhood gone! :(
Why do words like "war" "weapons of destruction" , "burnt" have different meanings now? :(
Where has the spirit of neighbor hood gone? Everyone is busy playing the blame game and so easily forgotten the good ol' times! :(
Ahh! How i wish i could rewind time and recreate that kind of a "time" we had ! :)
For now , i'll keep happy with just memories and creating some new ones ! :)
Who knows what the future holds for us , our neighborhood, our country or even this world! :)
Holii Haiiiii!!! Happy Holi everyone!! :)

Of Him , In Him , With Him , Within Him , Within Us.....
Sathya Sai Baba - 1926 - Eternity ..
It is heart wrenching, that God, that is to say our Dear Lord Sai, has made us convey what we earnestly prayed we would never have to do. But God's will always prevails. If He has decided to bring the curatain down on this incarnation, so it has to be. However, He cannot go away from our Hearts, where He has to be forever...
His legacy will continue. He still walks and He is still amongst us. It pierces like an arrow not to be able to see His physical form but now He is literally living in us. I can't describe the feelings but I feel so very much closer to Him and all that matters now is to continue His work and never to fail Him. We are His voice, His vision, His senses, His limbs and His heart who will go on spreading and showing the never ending love and support to every one. We are His messiah's in the Golden Age that has begun !
In wallets, on car dashboards, in between pages, on desks, in our music systems, on cupboards, tucked in photo frames , everywhere else and most importantly in our hearts .. ..Swami , you live on ...forever & ever....

Of " How are you? " 's ...and how much they matter...
I wonder how many of us have thought about how important it is to ask another person this question ,
Here is some food for thought :
Most of the time , when we meet someone it seems like the most obvious thing to say " Hey , How are you? " ...but i wonder , how many of us really mean to ask it.. and how many of us wait for a response , only then continue with the conversation ahead...
I recently met someone after very long, who is sooo full of herself/himself (i'm not getting into those details), that the person did not even bother asking me, even once, in the 3 - 4 days that i continuously met the person ,as to how i was!
In the begining i did not even realise that i was not asked THE question... but as days passed by , and as i kept listening to stories about whats happening in her/his life ...
I finally realised..not only had i not spoken much! (not that im complaining about not being able to talk , considering how much i love not to!)... but neither had i been asked EVEN ONCE in the last 4 days as to HOW I WAS!
Wow!! it really woke me up!! and made me think and realise how important it is to ask someone , more than just casually , " How are you my dear one? " ...
It makes soo much of a difference! It just shows that you too care .. and that you are there .. with him/her in that conversation...as someone who matters..
Over time and growing up , i have realised a few things , and this definitely is one of them!
I'd probably even ask a stranger , i've just met, as to how they're doing! Maybe , some of you think thats taking it too far , thats fine.. i could agree to an extent! but that's just me! :)
How many of you will actually now on not forget to ask the next person you meet or talk to today , " How are you? " , " my dear one " .. is something i would love to add, depending on how dear the person is ;)
Is there anyone who doesn't agree with me? I'd love to hear from you and exchange views :)
